NSW: New Zealand flag flys on Harbour Bidge

The New Zealand flag will fly on the Sydney Harbour Bridge for the first time today,
in recognition of the 90th anniversary of the landing at Gallipoli.

It will replace the New South Wales flag and take its place beside Australia's national flag.

New South Wales Premier BOB CARR says there can be no better way to symbolise the bond
between the two nations.

The flags will be lowered to half-mast from dawn on Anzac Day until midday, when both
flags will fly at full mast.

The New Zealand flag will also fly on the Anzac Bridge on Monday.
