NSW: Man dies after suspected collision with kangaroo
SYDNEY, Feb 14 AAP - A man was killed last night after his motorcycle collided with
what appeared to be a kangaroo near Inverell in mid-northern New South Wales.
Police said the 23-year-old man was riding his Yamaha motorcycle on the Coolatai Road
at Wallangra at about 7pm (AEDT) when the accident occurred.
A police spokesman said the rider appeared to have collided with a kangaroo and skidded
for about 20m.
He said a passing truck driver located the rider who had suffered massive head injuries.
The man was taken to Inverell Hospital but could not be revived.
Police are investigating the incident.
