FED:Christmas Island oil spill investigated
The Australian Greens are calling for in investigation into an incident that's caused
a cargo ship to sink at Christmas Island's main port, spilling oil and phosphate fertiliser
into the sea.
The MV Tycoon was loading phosphate at an offshore mooring in Flying Fish Cove on Sunday
when a severe four-metre swell developed.
The ship's mooring line started breaking and the ship hit rocks on the shore, suffering
