FED: Police on scent of the great cheese heist

SYDNEY, Feb 5 AAP - Bega is cheesed off.

Thieves have stolen a small mountain of the southern NSW town's most famous product - 37
tonnes, to be exact, worth over $200,000.

The puzzling heist has been carried out in two hits which are starting to make Sydney's
western suburbs look like the Bermuda Triangle of the dairy industry.

First, a truck and its load of 16 tonnes disappeared from Prestons, near Liverpool, in
